The 10th Annual 2013 Integrative Medicine Distinguished Lectureship featured Dr. Dan Siegel, MD, clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and Executive Director of the Mindsight Institute, spoke about The Art and Science of Mindful Practice. For the 7th Annual 2009 Integrative Medicine Distinguished Lectureship, OCIM partnered with the Symposium for Portland Area Research on Complementary and Alternative Medicine (SPARC) to bring you keynote speaker, Josephine Briggs, MD, Director of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). The Sixth Annual 2008 Integrative Medicine Distinguished Lectureship was held on April 24, 2008. The Integrative Medicine Pediatric Pain Symposium held on April 24, 2008 was a great success. Keynote speaker Sunita Vohra, MD, FRCPC, MSc and other leading health care providers in Integrative Medicine and treating pediatric pain presented information on a number of critical topics related to integrated care for pediatric chronic pain. The Fifth Annual 2007 Integrative Medicine Distinguished Lectureship was held on April 12, 2007. Dr. Steven G. Pratt spoke about "Superfoods".
The Fourth Annual 2006 Integrative Medicine Distinguished Lectureship was held in April of 2006, where Dr. Erminia "Mimi" Guarneri spoke on "The Heart Speaks: A Journey Beyond the Physical Pump."
