WHO WE ARE

The Oregon Collaborative for Integrative Medicine (OCIM) is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that brings education and health system institutions representing all licensed health professions together to advance a model of whole person care through collaboration. OCIM does this through education for existing health profession students, practicing health care providers and the public, advocacy for proper implementation of whole health principles, dissemination of scientific evidence and collaboration around best practices for translation into clinical practice. OCIM maintains a Multi-State Learning Collaborative and assists other states to form state level collaboratives by their joining OCIM initially. We recognize that optimal health is incapable of being created by one system of medicine alone and that patients benefit when we work together.
