National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) is the oldest programmatically accredited naturopathic medical school in North America. NUNM, a nonprofit organization, had its beginnings in the early 1950's, in response to the termination of the naturopathic program at Western States Chiropractic College. NUNM offers three graduate professional degrees in accredited and recognized programs that prepare graduates for licensed practice in many states and provinces: Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Doctor of Science in Oriental Medicine and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. In addition, NUNM offers master degrees in Integrative Medicine Research, Nutrition, Global Health, and Integrative Mental Health, along with undergraduate degrees in Integrative Health Sciences and Nutrition. 

The National University of Natural Medicine mission is to educate and train physicians, practitioners and pre-professionals in the art, science and research of natural medicine.

Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to advancing health care and the art of healing. Founded in 1983 in Portland, Oregon, OCOM was one of the first Oriental medicine colleges in the United States to provide master’s-level instruction.  In 2005, OCOM became the first college in the nation to graduate doctors of acupuncture and Oriental medicine.

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) graduated its first class in 1887 as the University of Oregon Medical School. As a nonprofit public corporation OHSU provides world-class knowledge for the most complex, and the most common of health care needs.  OHSU offers a myriad of doctorate and master’s degrees within the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and College of Pharmacy.
