OCIM is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine on their first truly interprofessional integrative health and medicine fellowship.
The two-year program is a hybrid model that includes 1,000 hours in the virtual classroom with media-rich training, discussion groups, streamed videos and interactive web-based curriculum. Additionally, the program incorporates clinical rotations and three in-person retreats. Elective modules such as Integrative Pain Management, Nuances of Hormone Therapy, Integrative Strategies for the Cancer Patient, 21st Century Cardiology, and Integrative Pediatrics will allow each participant to tailor their training in accordance with their interests and their profession’s requirements.
The AIHM Interprofessional Fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine AIHM Fellowship is officially Recognized and Approved by the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) and will deliver the program according to the standards of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through its academic partner, OCIM.

Consistent with OCIM's membership and mission, the AIHM Fellowship in Integrative Health & Medicine is interprofessional and inclusive. The following current licensed professionals are eligible for the program:
- Medical and osteopathic physicians
- Naturopathic physicians

- Advanced practice registered nurses
- Registered nurses with a master’s or doctorate in a health-related field
- Physician’s assistants
